Daily Readings – Young and old alike!

Day 1806: Back home from officiating a fun wedding in No. Cal. God’s beautiful creation was on display!

Scripture: O God, You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation; Your power to everyone who is to come. Psalm 71:17, 18

Thoughts/questions: These verses tell us that in our youth, God uses others to teach us; then we get to a stage whereby we can be taught directly by Him; and at the end, it is time for us to teach others!

Regardless of your age, there are those who are to come! We are to declare His power to them! And the most verifiable examples of God’s power are the specifics of what He has done in our lives.

May we all use our mouths to declare God’s strength and power by sharing personal stories of our experiences with Him! Don’t have those experiences? – get ’em! Got ’em?, share them!!!

Suggested prayer: Lord God, You are there for me throughout my whole life! Thank You for always being there . . .
