Daily Readings – How to Remember!

Day 1812: MMM – Make your Monday Matter!!!!

Scripture:  Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies? And I said, “This is my anguish; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.” I will remember the works of the Lord; surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds.  Psalm 77:9-12

Thoughts/questions: We may get discouraged in our walk with Jesus similar to what the Psalmist experienced. He was able to rely on his memory to realign himself with God.

In Jewish culture. the spoken word established traditions and MEMORIES! We’ve gotten away from that and we should not! We can create in others the opportunity to remember what God has done in the lives of people they know and love WHEN we share what God has done in our life!

Our memories now become their memories and when they (or us) encounter difficult times, they can rely on the memories we’ve implanted within them! Talk of His deeds!!!! They will be remembered!

Suggested prayer: Lord God, help me to always speak about your wonders . . .
