Daily Readings – Morning Prayers!

Day 1824: Another TGIF Thank God I’m Forgiven!!!

Scripture:  But I cry out to You, Lordin the morning my prayer comes before You. Psalm 88:14

Thoughts/questions: I skipped Psalm 87 on purpose – you’re welcome to read it, but . . .

What is your morning like? Does it include a daily routine that gets you ready for the day that is possibly repeated at least 5 days a week? Does that routine include God?

Many tend to go to God at the end of their day, but the Psalmist has a morning routine that includes crying out to the Lord. To those of you who start your day with God2me or some other way to bring your thoughts and concerns to Him, I applaud you – keep it up!

If not, it’s time to include God in that daily morning routine! Charge your spiritual battery; re-orient your thinking by setting your mind on things above; cry out in prayer and/or praise; commit your day to the Lord Almighty; and get your heart in the right place BEFORE the challenges of the day!

Suggested prayer: Lord God Almighty, each morning may I direct my prayers to You and seek out Your strength for the day . . .
