Daily Readings – Your New Song!

Day 1832Camping with the kids/grandkids today!!!

Scripture: Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.  Psalm 96:1-4a

Thoughts/questions: Every time I go to Disneyland I get a new song – ‘It’s a Small World.’ (Sorry, hope it’s not stuck in your head now.) That song gets in my head and is stuck there for the rest of the day.

How are you going to get your new song stuck in your head each dayGod wants your new song to be to Him and about Him! Your new song can be different every day, BUT intentionally input it into your head as one of the first songs you hear!

Make your alarm sing out your possible new song! Use a favorite worship CD!  Find a Christian radio station! Whatever it takes, daily Sing to the Lord a new song!

Suggested prayer: Lord, help me to start each day singing Your praises . . .
