Daily Readings – Psalm 100

Day 1836: The strength of the Lord is my joy!

Scripture: Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the Lord Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.

For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 100

Thoughts/questions: It’s pretty much impossible to add to or subtract from this great Psalm! Reread it as you meditate on each phrase loaded with meaning!

One quick thought – Know that the Lord Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves. He’s God; we’re not; He made us’ we didn’t; HE IS LORD!!!

Suggested prayer: Our loving God, Thank You for all that You are . . .
