Daily Readings – Seek His Face!

Day 1844: My peace I leave with you – Jesus!

Scripture: Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually. Remember His wonders which He has done, His marvels and the judgments uttered by His mouth.  Psalm 105:4, 5

Thoughts/questions: Life is not a series of good things, then some bad, then some good. No, they are like two parallel roads happening at the same time.

Consider your life – simultaneously there are challenges and blessings and that will continue throughout your time on earth. Goods and bads, plusses and minuses, praises and prayer requests.

Maybe that is why the Psalmist stated that we should seek God’s face continually! During our days filled with the converging roads of good times and bad, when we seek His face and remember His wonders, His face will fill our lives with a radiance that puts the proper perspective on those continual goods/bads!

Whether it’s good or bad, it AIN’T heaven yet. The good will get better and the bad will be gone, gone, gone!!! Let us daily seek His face!

Suggested prayer: Almighty God, when I see Your face, nothing else matters . . .
