Daily Readings – Woven!

Day 1886: Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! Happy Thanksgiving!

Scripture: For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. Psalm 139:13, 14

Thoughts/questions: When you look at some renditions of DNA strands, it actually looks like someone wove them together. And this look is not deceiving! God is the Great Weaver! Had the Psalmist written that God wove our DNA, no one at that time would have understood him, but today we know better.

He even formed our inner parts – do a study on the complexity of what makes up our inner parts and you will definitely be impressed by their Creator! Our inner soul knows full well that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, yet our minds don’t always recognize it as such.

Thanksgiving is a great day to remind our mind what our souls know – to regularly thank and praise our Creator for His marvelous works!

Suggested prayer: Creator God, I stand in awe of You . . .
