Christmas – Press on!

Day 1915:  The day after Christmas – maybe a more important day than any of the pre-Christmas days.

Scripture: But this one thing I do – forgetting the past and looking forward to the things to come, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 3:13b,14

Thoughts/questions:  Although the Christmas season is a busy time, Christ followers usually are able to take more time than usual to consider what Jesus has done for us.  Now that Christmas is over the daily routine returns.  Can we continue to live daily in the ‘Christmas spirit’?

For those for whom December is overwhelming, getting back to the routine may be beneficial to your spiritual walk!  For others, the joy of Christmas tends to leave us a bit flat once Christmas is over.  However, we are to press on!  God is completely interested in our ‘today’, no matter if we name it may have.  He has great plans for us, and His gift of Jesus is as important today as it was yesterday!

Suggested Prayer:  Father God, help me to live in Your fullness every day . . .
