Words in Red – But God . . .

Day 1945: Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Scripture:  This is what the kingdom of God is like.  A farmer planted seeds, and then continued to sleep at night and get up in the day while the seed sprouted and grew, even though he does not know how.  All by itself, the soil produces crops; first the stalk, then the head, and then the full kernel in the head.  And when the grain is ready, the farmer puts a sickle to it because the harvest has come!  Mark 4:26-29

Context:  Jesus continues teaching His disciples. (maybe the masses)

Thoughts/questions:  Sometimes we have to look backwards at our lives.  Because we know not how regarding our future, in retrospect, we can get a glimpse of how God works.  Consider an important event or miracle in your life and consider that point F (the full kernel).

For point F to have happened, there had to be a back story leading up to it. AND He is currently creating a new back story (points A – E) so that our next important event (another point F) can happen, but we know not how but our faith always can give us hope!

Some points don’t seem very appropriate or well placed at the time, but God . . .  A very important phrase – but God!!!   As you daily sleep and get up, be excited for all of the events of each day, as we know not how, but God . . .

Suggested Prayer:  Most gracious and merciful heavenly Father, thank You for connecting the dots of my life into something beautiful . . .
