Daily Readings — Analogy #2 Regarding Trust!

Day 2050: God2me is posting the 2nd of 2 consecutive analogies which may help you during difficult situations. Please read yesterday’s if you haven’t already!

Scripture: “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 55:8

Thoughts/questions: 2) This 2nd analogy is about puzzles.  Events happen which tend to undermine our faith and challenge our views regarding a God of love even existing. However, those events are only a small aspect of the big picture, but sometimes we can’t see the forest because of that difficult tree!

When putting together a jigsaw puzzle, the first thing one does is turn all the pieces face up. Imagine trying to put together even a 500 piece puzzle by having to use only the grey backside of each puzzle piece! Even when they are face up, some pieces appear to be part of a different puzzle until at the very last when they fit perfectly into their assigned space! Puzzle complete!

God’s desire for us to base our relationship withHim on faith causes us to be able to only view the grey side of each situation in our lives. We are able to figure out how some of them fit, but for the most part we’re in the dark as to how it all comes together! But God is light! He knows what each puzzle piece is and how they ALL fit to make our life a perfect and complete picture!

Commit your difficult situations to God; extend the trust you have towards Him to those areas as well; and be at peace!

Suggested prayer: Father God, my faith and trust are often challenged. Help me to have confidence that Your loving plan is being carried out in my life regardless of my present situation . . .
