Psalm 103 — Knowing God!!!

Day 2148: Continuing with just who our amazing God is using Psalm 103! Today’s verse is in bold.

Scripture:  Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He revealed His character to Moses and His deeds to the people of Israel. Psalm 103:5-7

Thoughts/questions: Our great God reveals Himself to us individually and collectively. To the masses, illustrated by the people of Israel in today’s verse, He shares His deeds!

Creation certainly is God’s biggest ‘deed’ and impressive it is! The recent meteor shower we watched the other night at 1 a.m. was impressive enough, but not as impressive as the stars they were shooting through. The Milky Way was visible and the abundance of planets in this very small sample was truly amazing. The heavens do declare His glory and for ALL to see!

Individually, God shares with us His character BUT only in response to our desire to have a relationship with Him. When we respond to His love, He gives us love. When we yield submit completely to Him, He gives us peace. When we acknowledge His plan in all the areas of our life, He gives us His joy! And so much more!

We can know of God because of what He’s done, but there is far more! We can know Him and ALL that He is and have a vital, intimate relationship with Creator God! What a blessing! What a great God!

Suggested prayer: Father God, may my relationship with You be far more than just knowing about You. Help me to daily get to know You more . . .
