Biblical Phrases — Word Became Flesh!

Day 2210: Be a blessing to someone this Monday!!!

Scripture: And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

Thoughts/questions: I’m surely glad my words don’t take on a physical manifestation! How about you and your words???

But the Word of God, Jesus, did just that. He became something far beneath His status, yet maintained who He was – full of grace and truth!

It doesn’t happen often, but there can be times we have to retain our nature, but take on a humbling position or role. We have a perfect model! When/if this happens, follow Jesus; expectantly take on your new role; stay true to who you are; and remember, you’re in good company!

Suggested prayer: Dear Jesus, take my pride and smash it . . .
