Proverbs — Proverbs 30:24-28

Day 2219: Be in awe of Creator God. Bow down and worship Him!

Scripture:  There are four things on earth that are small but are exceedingly wise:  Ants are of little strength, yet they store up food in the summer!  Coneys are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in rocky cliffs.  Locusts have no king, but they advance together in ranks.  Lizards are easily caught in your hands, yet they can be found in kings’ palaces.  Proverbs 30:24-28

Thoughts/questions: How about 4 other ‘very small’ things that were unknown to the writer of Proverbs which we now are able to understand their God’s wisdom in their creation as they are all vital factors in our survival and our level of existence:  Tiny platelets, which flow normally in the blood, but become ‘sticky’ when bleeding occurs and start the process of blood clotting!!!  WOW!!!  2.4 million red blood cells are produced each second and they are the primary delivery system of oxygen in our blood stream.  They pick up oxygen in our blood and when they travel through the smaller capillaries the oxygen is squeezed out – what an impressive delivery system!!!  WOW!!!

The atom – one powerful tiny little guy!!!  Hiroshima’s atomic bomb was reported to be the result of atoms, about the size of a pea, converting into energy.  Science is still not completely sure of what holds this ‘highly’ charged atom together!!!  WOW!!!  Synapses – there are approximately 100 trillion of these little exchanges in the human brain transmitting information constantly!!!  WOW!!!

Four small things, which are exceedingly valuable!!!  Our God is an amazing creator – just another reason to be thankful EVERY day!!!

Suggested Prayer:  Creator God, You are truly awesome . . .
