Luke — Trust Issues!

Day 3140: Visiting the Mother-in-law and old friends today!

Scripture:  (Jesus speaking) “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? Luke 16:10-12

Thoughts/questions: Are we worthy? Worthy of trust? Worthy of true riches? You are if you follow Jesus’ teaching!

Most of life is made up of the little decisions we make each day. How we respect others, how we treat animals, how we drive when a highway patrol officer is spotted and at other times, how we do when our kid is 6 but 5 and under get in free, how we handle a rental car versus our own . . .

Jesus tells us that He desires to trust us in everything and to respond by giving us true riches – not material gain. However, we must take care of the little things. How are you doing in that regard? Found worthy, or ???

Suggested Prayer: Dear Jesus, may I truly be faithful in the little things . . .
