Day 4892: Another summer weekend – enjoy as they’ll be gone soon . . .

Scripture: I was created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God had planned in advance for me to do! Ephesians 2:10

Thoughts/questions: The show must go on! This phrase originated in the circus in the 19th century and refers to continuing regardless of circumstances. It later shifted to show business, as most of us relate to it in that context. Actors are on a stage with a role to play, and WE ARE TOO!

And our loving God has created a play in which every actor (each of us) has a specific role at a specific time at a specific place with specific people. Don’t be discouraged or frustrated with the times in which we live. You are here for a reason! God had planned in advance what He desires for you at exactly this time.

Every actor is needed for every play regardless of how big their part is. Same with God’s people. Right here, right now, and for the right reason! Make sure that every day you tell God that you are available to fulfill His perfect plan!

Suggested prayer: Living God of the universe, I trust Your plan and timing for my life. Help me to fulfill Your plan . . .
